NEWS 06.2012Bergman Associates’ Creative Director Joins the CFDA Class 2.0 Team of Mentors Robert Bergman has been invited to join the 2012-2014 CFDA Fashion Incubator mentorship team as the industry expert/business mentor — representing the fields of advertising, creative and branding. For the Incubator Class 2.0, Bergman Associates has taken the place of former 2011 mentors, Laird and Partners.
The CFDA Fashion Incubator is designed to support the next generation of American fashion designers, providing a creative professional environment to foster promising fashion talent, and help selected designers grow and sustain their business. By offering business mentoring, the program provides a way for participants to reach their full potential and become an integral part of the New York Fashion community. The program was developed and is overseen by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, with the support of underwriter TARGET, and partnerships with Newmark Holdings and New York City Economic Development Corporation. The Complete Creative Package: L’Oreal’s Redken Launches a New Haircolor Brand with Creative by Bergman Associates For the launch of Redken’s new haircolor brand ’Chromatics,’ Bergman Associates directed branding, concept development, design of the packaging, and the direction and creation of the launch’s advertising campaign and TV spot. The print and TV advertising was photographed by celebrity and fashion photographer Matt Irwin and stars model Julia Halfstrom. The TV spot was co-directed by Robert Bergman, CD of Bergman Associates and Rob Kassabian. NEWS 05.2012
Guido Palau and Bergman Associates ’Set the Trends’ From the S/S 2012 Runways Each fashion season, L’Oreal’s Redken brand presents the season’s trends by the world’s top runway hairstylist Guido Palau, with creative direction and production by Bergman Associates—Redken’s agency. The campaign consists of print and TV advertising, look-books, and videos.
For the Spring/Summer 2012 Campaign, ’Untamed Elegance,’ Guido Palau teamed for the eighth fashion season with Robert Bergman of Bergman Associates and Redken to present his most influential hairstyles created for 32 Spring/Summer runway shows in Paris, New York and Milan. Each season, Palau styles top models’ hair for more than 30 of the leading designers’ shows including Prada, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Yves St. Laurent, Ralph Lauren and Alexander McQueen.
